I was quite surprised to get your follow up call about our self-storage roofing project. As we discussed, our need for a new roof was a result of age and possible effects of acid rain in Louisville.
The liability of exposure to the elements of the tenants' goods in a storage building would not allow for the removal and replacement of the existing standing seam roof. Installation of a new standing seam roof over the existing roof system was cost prohibitive. The third option was to apply a roof coating.
I must admit I was initially skeptical of this option. I saw your ad in a self- storage magazine and requested more information on your products and your company. As important as the product itself, is the application. The applicator contractor, as recommended by you, provided many references of jobs satisfactorily completed. Your contractor coordinated with the managers on site in Louisville, KY, while keeping me informed in San Antonio, TX.
Upon completion I physically inspected the roof and was pleasantly surprised by the finished product. The roof coating was evenly applied over the entire roof. The color as required by the City of Louisville was uniform and the roof looked like new.
The cost savings was over 60% of the estimated cost to overlay. I am very satisfied with your product and its application, and am negotiating to have the remaining buildings completed at the property.
