Before work ever begins, each roof is first thoroughly
surveyed to reveal vulnerable areas. Spray paint marks critical
ones so none are overlooked. A written plan and highlighted rooftop,
chart the path.
Cleaning
Good surface preparation is vital, allowing the
new surface to become totally bonded. High pressure wash removes
all dirt layers and failed coating. TOPPS RUSTARRESTOR™ conditions and allows
rust to be washed away.
Fasteners are common areas for water to enter
panelled roofs. All are retightened; missing ones replaced.
Reinforcing
All seams and fasteners are treated with SEAMGUARD™ or RIVETGUARD™ for secure protection.
This is the first of three seals on all vulnerable areas of a
completed TOPPS® roof.
Super strong TOPPS POLYPRENE™ gets worked into any
remaining gaps or connections by glove or trowel. This systematically
leaves all protrusions through the roof, reinforced.
Capping
Protecting
TOPPS SEAL™ virtually creates a uniform rubber barrier
cured right to the roof when finished. Beautiful, rustproof,
waterproof, and seamless. So water rolls right off. Won't crack
in the cold. Stays elastic... and leaves no waterproofing gaps.
It's the cost cutting complete maintenance system that adds back
years of service to old panelled roofs.
